Ethical Energy Cleansing

This workshop weaves together education + embodiment, offering space to understand, question, and practice. You’ll learn about energy and smoke cleansing beyond surface-level trends, and dive into other cleansing practices that don’t rely on smoke, scents, or specific materials.

The intention behind this offering is to build a relationship of love and respect by engaging intentionally with spiritual practices, instead of appropriating.

    • Understanding prana (life force energy) and energetic flow

    • Pranayama (breathwork) practices for clearing and grounding

    • Gentle, accessible movement for energetic release

    • Healing sound instruments & chanting for clearing

    • Foundations of Reiki as a Japanese healing modality

    • Self-clearing techniques (no attunement required)

    • Visualizations

    • Water-based rituals

    • The difference between smoke cleansing and smudging

    • Why smudging is a closed practice in many Indigenous traditions

    • How to engage with herbs ethically and in right relationship

    • Optional, guided smoke cleansing for in-person participants
