With over a decade dedicated to their practice, Courtney (they/she) graduated from their certification program magna cum laude (℅ 2014) and has devoted the years that followed to providing trauma-informed education, healing & sensible aftercare solutions for clientele entrusting them with their emotional and physical care. In my time providing bodywork to the public I found myself gaining & sustaining a passion specifically for pain management work and the relief I’m able to provide clients. 

In 2023, I accrued my certification for Ashiatsu (barefoot massage) and added the modality to my repertoire to provide the same deep tissue pain relief but in a different, and often more successful approach. With a deep compassion & empathy for social justice, especially for and as a person of the global majority, my drive comes from a deep rooted anecdotal understanding for how pivotal this work is and how touch can alter any persons life that is open to its inherently ancestral healing components.

In my time not servicing the public directly I am an art and social justice organizer and advocate for the moral principles I hold as devout practice in my personal life. I'm also a multi-disciplinary artist, varying from upcycled wearable fashions, paintings, embroidery and performance art. I consider myself somewhat of a chef, enjoy reading and spending time in nature! Hiking and exploring the peaks and valleys of the (Tutelo) blue ridge mountains with my girlfriend is my favorite way to unwind and reconnect with my lineal roots.
