Sweet Rain Healing offers liberation-focused consulting and education at the intersection of healing, social justice, and organizational culture.
Our work supports businesses, organizations, collectives, and institutions in integrating embodied practices, anti-racist and anti-capitalist frameworks, and cultural accountability into the ways they teach, organize, and lead.
We specialize in helping justice-oriented spaces move beyond performative DEI toward practices that are sustainable, ethical, and rooted in collective care—without reproducing harm, burnout, or cultural appropriation.
Workshop Offerings:
Political Education through a Healing Lens
Best for: collectives, student groups, long-term collaborators/partnerships
A combination of a yoga and/or energy work, paired with an educational workshop exploring the relationship between wellness and social justice. Topics include, but are not limited to: burnout, mental health, community care, anti-racism, trauma-informed practices, etc.
Community Circles & Grief Cafes
Community Circles: Small group discussion + grounding practices centered around topics like boundaries, mediation, collective care, racial healing, decolonization, anti-capitalism, forms of resistance, etc.
Grief Cafe: A space to practice what it is like to seek out and create community when we feel overwhelmed with grief or loss, instead of shutting down or isolating. This is an opportunity to find joy alongside grief and trust alongside sorrow. A safe-r container for those needing a space of compassionate listening and interested in building relationship with this human experience.
Embodied Liberation Trainings
Best For: activist orgs, nonprofits, schools, conferences
Interactive trainings that bring somatic awareness, nervous-system literacy, healing and trauma-informed practices, and rest as resistance into justice work.
Participants leave with practical tools and shared language for sustaining justice work without sacrifice well-being.
Cultural Accountability & Anti-Appropriation Consulting
Best For: yoga studios, teacher trainings, wellness orgs
Education and advisory support for organizations offering healing and cultural practices to their communities, helping them avoid extraction, appropriation, and harm while building ethical relationships to the lineages they draw from.
Organizations gain clarity, accountability, and concrete pathways for engaging healing practices without reproducing colonial harm.
