Aligned & Awakened
a 7 week Chakra Yoga Journey
Tuesdays, May 5th - June 16th
6 - 7:30 pm, EST
Align your body, breath, and spirit through the sacred spiral of the chakras.
Aligned & Awakened is a 7-week yoga and ritual series exploring the subtle energy centers of the body, known as the chakras—a wisdom tradition from ancient India that maps the relationship between our physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies.
This series is not about fixing yourself—it’s about remembering that you are already whole.
Rooted in respect for the yogic traditions from which the chakra system emerges, we hold this series with care, avoiding oversimplification or appropriation. Practices are offered in honor of their original context while making space for your personal experience, creativity, and healing.
What to Expect Each Week:
We’ll journey through one chakra using breathwork, movement, meditation, mudra, and creative ritual. This is a space of embodied inquiry and gentle reclamation—an invitation to listen deeply, move with intention, and realign with your inner knowing.

Why Chakras in Yoga?
Chakras are energetic centers that have been referenced for centuries in yogic texts and Tantric teachings. While often visualized as colorful symbols, their purpose is deeply spiritual and subtle—inviting us to explore the unseen layers of our being.
In this series, yoga becomes a tool not just for physical movement, but for energetic alignment. Through each week’s theme, you’ll build awareness of how your body stores emotion, memory, and power—and how to lovingly rebalance and reclaim those energies.

Notes on Cultural Respect & Honoring Lineage
This series is offered in deep respect for the yogic traditions that have given us the chakra framework. While we explore this energy system through creative and contemporary lenses, we also aim to decenter Western commodification of these teachings.
We hold space for nuance, acknowledge our teachers, and invite participants to stay curious about where these practices come from. This is a practice of both embodiment and responsibility.
