Sweet Rain Healing is on Substack

Why are you creating a substack?

I’ve been thinking about it for a while for many different reasons. Partially because Instagram is a wasteland, and because I’m feeling the pull to connect on a deeper level with folks. I’m not sure if this is the best way for me to do that, but writing has continued to be an integral part of my creative wellness practice and this platform feels right in this moment.

This isn’t a newsletter,

so I won’t be promoting classes or events. My intention behind this substack is to create a community that aligns morally & ethically. For more selfish reasons, I want this space to share my thoughts, musings, joy, grief, rage, opinions, learnings, reflections, and heart. In hopes of finding understanding with those around me, a way to feel seen and heard, a way to remember I’m not alone!

So, what could one expect from this space?

Let me start off by saying, there will not be a method to this madness. I do have a vision though. I’m thinking blogs on all kinds of topics, like spirituality and social justice. Mostly though, I want this to be a space of reflection. I feel like I have so much to say, so many lived experiences to share, so many transformations to honor, so many dreams to write about.

I won’t make any promises about a set schedule or frequency of posting. I will say that I plan to be writing a lot during my rest sabbath (January 25th - February 8th). During those 2 weeks I’m going to be . I think I’ll have so many reflections and thoughts swirling around inside of me, so I plan on treating this space like a journal during that time. Which feels vulnerable but I’m open to seeing how that feels! There isn’t a paywall for this content, but you do have the option to become a paid subscriber to support our mission.
